Mrs Brenda Brinson was my 6th grade teacher. I commend her for winning the debate with school principal to allow our class to view Dr King's televised funeral in our classroom.JazLivehttp://jazlive.weebly.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8417610874627751100.post-69531707666026526082016-08-07T14:10:50.531-07:002016-08-07T14:10:50.531-07:00Can you provide information on an African American...Can you provide information on an African Americans school named (Mary Fleming) it was located on Highway 441 south of Dublin, Ga. My great-grandfather, John Rozier was a teacher in Laurens County in a school that his children attended. My aunt, Sarah Rozier Bryant recounted that it was called the Piney Woods Baptist Church school. This would have been around the beginning of the 20th century. They later moved to California about 1910. She even told me the name of one of the texts they used - I have it in my records and will look it up. I wonder if the Rozier listed as a teacher is a relative.Alpine Pragmatisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07256277845012489697noreply@blogger.com
